FIRST YEAR

The curriculum of the Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Business Management aims to train managers for the tourism sector. Thus, from the first course you will be able to see that, along with subjects typical of business administration and management training, there are other subjects that provide certain specific multidisciplinary knowledge from other branches of the social sciences that are of practical application for these executives. In addition, you will continue to advance in the knowledge of English and you will have the exclusive training provided by our center with the financial software Excel. In the summer months we invite you to spend some time getting started with real internships in companies, the best CV is prepared in time.

SECOND YEAR

In this course you will begin the study of subjects related to the management of tourism companies and activities (Management of tourism companies, Marketing, Tourism Law,…), you will start with German and continue with English. You will also learn the importance of natural resources and cultural heritage for the tourism sector. You can also begin to do part of your academic training in one of the more than 50 Erasmus destinations throughout Europe. More than 300 companies are waiting for you to continue with your internship, and we recommend you to start thinking about a destination outside Spain, broaden your horizons.

THIRD YEAR

This is the course in which you will continue to expand your training in more specific sectors of tourism activities (Human Resources, Operations and Processes, Management Systems…). Iriarte has made an important commitment to incorporate cutting-edge training on computer systems specific to the travel sector (Amadeus). Most of the students dedicate at least one term to an Erasmus stay. It is advisable that you are encouraged to obtain language certifications, for which Iriarte offers specific training.

FOURTH YEAR

In the first four-month period you will have the last regulated subjects of the degree, Iriarte offers the possibility of homologating some electives with the courses of Events, Protocol and Public Relations in the tourism sector taught by professionals and experts in the field. You will also have included courses in digital management and financial management (SAP) and the pricing and sales software Revenue Management. The second four-month period is dedicated to the end-of-degree project and to expanding your catalog of internships, which you can extend during some of the summer months. Our ultimate goal is that you leave Iriarte with your official degree and a solid training, but also with a wide and varied experience of internships, stays in foreign universities, certified languages and specific complementary training highly valued by companies. We want graduates who make a difference.
