Francisco Javier de la Rosa Arrocha graduated in Geography and History from the University of La Laguna in 1984. He completed his doctoral studies in 1989-1991. His dissertation was read in 1991 with the qualification of outstanding by unanimous vote. These studies were oriented towards the spatial archaeology of the Canary Islands. During his long professional career, he took numerous specialization courses in archaeology, as well as in teaching, since he began teaching in vocational training, which he combined with archaeology. Later he oriented his research towards Historical Archaeology, directing projects and excavations and almost fully dedicated to university education.<\/p>\n
