Ibiza Meli\u00e1n holds a PhD in Social and Legal Sciences from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid. She has also held positions of responsibility in both the public and private spheres related to the tourism sector.\u00a0Her line of research focuses on political and administrative corruption, as well as within the philosophy of law the moral and ethical perspective.<\/p>\n

Ibiza Meli\u00e1n began her career in the aviation industry. She then went on to work as a director of outbound and inbound travel agencies for almost a decade. She first worked on a contractual basis only and then held the same position in a company with shareholding. This position allowed her to be present at the most important international tourism fairs and to establish contacts with the most representative tour operators worldwide, as well as with the main service providers. Likewise, he was in charge of the commercialization of different tourist complexes.<\/p>\n

Academic Experience<\/h3>\n

In addition to the subjects of Law of the Tourism Degree at Iriarte, she has taught within the same career in another center attached to the University of La Laguna the subjects of Public Management of Tourism Resources, Management of Tourism Companies, Commercial Research and Promotion of Tourism Destinations and Products. This work received the highest teaching qualification from the students. She has even tutored several Final Degree Projects that were successfully passed and chaired the evaluation tribunal. He has even been a member of the Quality Commission as a teacher. She has also given classes for the Master’s Degree in Public Relations, on the tourist leisure industry and new tourist modalities, production and management of events.<\/p>\n
